OBJECTIVES: You will be writing a research paper for this course on a topic of your choosing relevant to Humans living in the Ice Age course. Topics must be approved, and you will turn in a summary with an annotated bibliography by Wednesday, October 30th.The final paper will be a 10 to 12 pages’ research paper with bibliography (citations should follow the format of the Chicago Manual of Style). You are encouraged to consult with your instructor during all stages of the research and writing process. PART 1, 1 to 2 pages excluding references Wednesday October 30th, 2019

In the first part of your assignment you will need to write a summary that includes your research topic, a general research question and associated research problems. You will also need to include 2 annotated references. (Utilize websites and information provided by reference librarian to generate annotated references)

PART 28-10 pages (excluding title page and references) Friday, November 15th, 2019

C.Detailed description of topic (2,000 words) that should include

1.- Questions and Objectives

2.- Previous Work (i) Should demonstrate an understanding of relevant literature (cite relevant references) (ii) May include a statement about questions raised by previous investigations that justify choice of your topic

3.- Geographical and Environmental scope

A Bibliography of cited references (A minimum of 8 – 4 of them annotated including the 2 provided in Part 1)

Include references at the end of the paper (author, date, title, and publishing press). References should include the name of the author, the date of publication, the title of the publication, and the name of the journal if relevant. For web sites include if possible author, name of page accessed and date accessed.
