Analytical Essay – this is a traditional essay where you identify a theme of either play and show how the writer uses literary devices to express his theme. You would want to include supporting evidence from the play, as well as an outside source of some kind that related to your discussion. With both plays, character analysis and stage direction are literary devices we spoke about as being influential in telling the story and sharing the theme. 2-3 pages.
